This will be very GOOD for Cisco as more carriers will move
over to GSR 124xxx. Can't say the same for Juniper as it
fails badly when fully loaded...

Well, these are technical details that point to one very obvious fact. The Internet is not only alive and well, but still growing at alarming rates. There is one message we can take away from this article that is crystal clear. Despite the ludicrous lows Cisco is currently experiencing, they are the premier networking company and stand the most to benefit from the Internet's explosion. They are heavily involved in the standards bodies and when this problem is solved, as I guarantee it will be, Cisco will once again benefit. The statistic that they talk about in the article is what will drive newer and better technology to handle this type of load. That's what's great about tech companies, they constantly have to remake themselves to stay ahead and there is no better company at doing this than Cisco. Within 1 year from this July, we'll see an improvement in fundamentals. People who are buying now will be happy they did, 15 months from now.
