Jim, All I can say on your post is....yeppers, unfortunately. Wish it was otherwise, but it's not...maybe if the venerable Dow drops to 7000 some folks will wake up? CSCO, SUNW, ORCL: which sees the singles first? And the notion of buying banks now...unreal. Didn't Wachovia and one other (Cap One?) just warn a week/two ago? I am sure they will be the only ones, uh huh. No troubles there, nope, haha. This energy thing here in CA is one big stink that few are catching a whiff of yet. My local merchants are all raising prices, and they are quick to tell ya "PG&E, so sorry, but PG&E". The Asian contagion of '98 is gonna be the energy contagion of '01, I fear.
