OT VENT What absolute nincompoops those "men in power" are who popped that bubble! How much worse could a real crash at the real bust have been! And, furthermore, it would have been 5-8 years out with untold positive consequences from false wealth leading to innovation. And, furthermore, they probably killed the spirit of this generation at exactly the time (mid-life crisis time) when it will kill it for good. I see a generation saying: What the Fug! I don't need to do all this work just to have it get stolen from me. mo

I agree Michael. I see that the great cancerous "idiot wind" is begin to sweep across the SI board as well as on the Yahoo board. I equate this growing tide of moronism to "Hoof and Brain" disease. This is probably who the Internet was designed for. Pretty soon, I'll just go back to just reading books and newspapers.Even my satelite dish delivers 300 channels of televised media, 70 percent of it devoted to Fart jokes.Is this the New American dream? No, this is devo. Back to lurking... al
