(g)>> i've been saving my quarters (about 2 gallons worth) since my last trip therein '94 to pay for my gas - figure that'll get me as far as prince george -g- actually, in '94, when i got to dawson city, i met a few alaskans that suggested staying in the yukon & BC (that's where the alaskans go vacation to get out of AK. they were right - AK was crowded unless you spent the 'big bucks' to get back into the bush. and i must say, the canucks were wonderful. one couple went 18 miles out of their way to show me a place i was trying to find. and on the queen's hwy (2 lane), if someone wants to pass, you just run on the paved shoulder and they wave and honk as they go by. hell, if you use your horn in south FL, you'll end up with a couple of 44 mag rounds coming at you!! BTW, i'm getting the sony dcr-trv900, 3 ccd digital video camera to take with me. i have some adobe and pinnacle editing software, so that i can edit and burn the video to cd's. Bill/WA
