Good luck to ya. I hope the lessons don't cost too much.

I think that we may be nearing capitulation; not in numbers but in time. Did you notice there was no (almost no) short covering blip this afternoon? I think that may be a sign of undue cockiness, sort of the reverse of what was going on in Q4 '99.

"So i am in mode "options obsession". Me too Max. Do you have any experience so far with Canadian options? If a stock is interlisted I will always play the US options because the liquidity on the options front in Canada here is really poor. Therefore it seems like you always have to (on CDN options) buy on the ask and sell on the bid unless you wish to wait for the underlying security to get to where your options bid is placed. Not hard to do in a slow market but in a fast market you basically lose 6-10% on the spread the very second you buy. :( Another thing I have noticed with Candian options is that the time decay appears to be much more severe. I have been searching for information on a more precise calculation of time decay but have found very little resources.

Anyway good trading to you,
Bool
