NVDA's got some serious support. There's 20,400 shares being bid for a.h. @64-1/8. That's a million bucks for crying out loud- sure ain't retail buying!

Dana- I have mixed opinions about NVDA as well.. so far I have hit it only on the short side for some small change, but I was tempted to go long.. It didnt drop today so I almost shorted instead :)

I personally think NVDA is 100% immune to whats happening in the pc sector and thats a pretty crazy thing to say.. I wouldnt put my money on it, but I also realize that they are the leader, have a cult following and can command whatever margins they want.. I also dont think a slowdown in the pc sector will be enough to derail their momentum, and its a specialty product- where most of the margins will be made on the retail shelves

Going against it are the facts that most card makers eventually do a complete reversal as another one comes in and steals their audience.. and the other problem is the market correcting like this- can any company be totally immune from the rest of the market?

NVDA has run up from a low 3 months ago of around 28, and now its back near its 52wk high as the markets get destroyed.. I was going to play it if I was able to get it below 60 today, but now ill just wait for 70/75 area to start a short.. Ill just play the stop game :)

- just for what its worth.. I played this sector quite a bit and one thing I would speculate is that theres alot of inside information passed around.. Sometimes when they move against what you would expect, its smart to step aside.. very weird stock..
