Doug the market is now around $11 to 12 trillion, ....... GDP is around $9.5 trillion make the math --- SPX 950 and COMS 1300 in general numbers.

Typically, taking the Wilshire 5000 index is a good measure of total market cap, it indicates a cap of $10.1 Trillion, vs a GDP just north of $9.5 trillion. Since bear markets go to extreme, the "last bottom" may be some way further down. If we are in a multi year bear, as I expect, with very sharp rallies in between, we may have another two three years before we reach that ultimate bottom.
