I'm speaking generally. There are so many who base their decisions on stock movement, especially since the data is universally available and many feel empowered by it. Avoiding this market is an example where that has paid, however over time the best money is made by holding leading companies thru business cycles. Cream always rises to the top. Competitive positions change, of course. We must be alert to those changes, but that is fundamental investing.
