No. Yahoo doesn't adjust for discontinued operations and one time events.

The sum of pro forma earnings for the trailing 4 quarters was $1.07, which is a p/e of 42 based on today's closing price of 45 3/4. The consensus for FY2001, which ends on 9/30/01, is $1.26, a forward p/e of 36.

But that doesn't mean you couldn't buy it cheaper <gg>.

I agree. Why not? There is no reason for any stock price in this market that is selling first then asking second. We will get to the ask period soon enough. 4 to 5 more points on CSCO should do it.
