"I hope you capitalized on your good call. Not many of us did" That's the real shame of it too. Here we have a thread dedicated to the icon of the Transformational Internet. To Cisco. So, did we use the power of the Internet to harness the intellectual capacity of the planet? No. We formed a human community, indulged in tribal warfare and bickering. Bulls at the throats of bears. Thread morons with valuable foresight banished or hounded to the edge of SI extinction. Too sad, really. I happen to believe completely in the promise of the Internet. But it doesn't appear that people know how to use it yet. Maybe when we figure it out, then equities like CSCO may yet command valuations recently seen. Until then, however, we may have to suffer.
