I'm not so sure about that. IT spending is in a tailspin and ORCL's earnings will, no doubt, suffer heavily as have all others. If earnings this year turn out to be something in the .30 range(quite possible, I believe) then its very believable that ORCL will not bottom until its in the $6-8 range. If we end up in a serious and prolonged recession there's no telling how bad things could get for the whole tech sector.

Seems you were right.

I bought yesterday - before the rate cut.
