Taiwan is no more China than South Korea is North Korea. The Nationalists were in power in China prior to the Communists, and their government exists in exile on Taiwan. We supported Chiang Kai-shek long before he was driven to Taiwan by Mao. There are some good history books out there. Perhaps you could brush up a bit... ~SB~

Excuse me?? I believe the peaceful people of Tibet would beg to differ, along with the hundreds of thousands of people who lost their life in border disputes of the past 40 years. Have you any idea how many serious human rights abuses the Chinese government has inflicted on its people? We're not talking about a government founded on the principles of individual freedom, liberty and justice Rich. To equate the United States with its freedom and liberty, to China is disturbing. And I won't even open the can of worms regarding how many infants have been killed since the one child law went into effect.
