From what I read it appears that some of the businesses that Cisco sells to are in deep trouble. Many of Cisco's competitors have already warned at least once, and each time they do Cisco gets taken down with them. Because of this, and also because of the incredible amount of negative views expressed by everyone about Cisco, I hope we are nearing a bottom for this stock. No one thinks Cisco is going anywhere but down from here, and that may be just the sentiment we have needed before the share price can begin to stabilize. If Chambers comes out with an earnings shortfall pre-announcement then we may drop lower very fast, but I am hopeful that because there is already so much bad news factored into the price that we might, just might, get a relief rally in Cisco because the bad news is finally reality. I think there is a lot of fear right now of the unknown. Knowing what is really happening, even if it is bad, is sometimes a lot better than just waiting for the other shoe to fall.

I am probably wrong to be hopeful. Is there anyone else out there that shares my hopeful views, or am I the only one?
