Mark and thread guru's. Can you help with this problem?

While loading my sons new computer game, everything seemed to go well. Then when I booted the program up, it say's "missing DLL.DINPUT8.dll.

I've looked in my os and the file doesn't exist. (at least I can't find it.) I also searched around the web for the file to no avail.

Any advice?

Thanks, Michael

Mark,

oh yeah, you're previewing winxp beta2 aren't you? how's that coming?

I will be previewing XP when Microsoft sends the cds sometime in April, they say. In any case I need to have my new system in place before I could run it. In the meantime I check in on the xp preview newsgroup occasionally to see if anyone has gotten a copy of the beta2 yet. That comment about Partition Magic caught my eye, because it's a program I plan to buy along with Drive Image as soon as I'm up and running on an appropriate system.

See ya,
Esteban
