Actually, April 18th was a combination of what I then thought would be a series of events, the first early in April, the relapse in the Japanese market after the herculean effort to bring the Nikkei to above 13500 for end of the year reasons, then I expect the torrent of actual Q1 reports, to first be "discounted" already, but then, after the continuous bombardment of disasters, I felt that the "weight of evidence" would have broken what i thought would be a counter trend rally. Last, these two also fit with a cycle count I had from what I thought would be a low around the 12th or so of March. Since now, I have to count March 22nd as the low (if the big boys from the Dow and S&P hold tomorrow <g>) I do not have a good date for the toping action on the next wave up.
