One of the several great contributors to the Great Depression was an ignorant government that was afraid to risk a deficit to prevent the economic slide. Tight money was another.

We are trying to make the same mistakes today. You may wish to have a word with your Daschles and Gephardts before they piss it all away. Their time would be better spent holding impeachment hearings for the First Clerk, Alan Greenspan, while slashing marginal tax rates to single digits.

But that would require vision, and they ain't got none...

this market is about leadership and their is none except a white house out of touch with reality in global economy that is sinking fast. So this will be the 1930's all over again including the bread lines because we have a bunch of idiots worried about all the wrong things

LOL!! Nah. That's what would be the case if Gore had won. He lost, fair and square. Bet we don't hear any apologies to the USSC or the Bush camp from all the sore losers. JLA
