More Cisco shares than people on the planet.

Everyone can have one.

Question : After getting burned SO bad, how many people will want to buy tech again ?

But the P/E is 5 !

They didn't pay attention to the P/E in 1999, why would they pay attention in 2002 ?

Prediction: We will see tech stay down for years....

William JH RE: <<I wonder if there will be enough buyers to accommodate the investors who might want out of these stocks in any future rally? >>

If Stocks like infospace drop any farther we may find that any one of us could be the buyer to accommodate all 315mm of the shares outstanding. Especially if we used the cash they have in the company to do it. gg.

On a more serious note, I suspect that a lot of stock shares and a lot of movement of the shares was necessary to get the volume necessary to attract in institutional investors who needed to be able to get in and out without moving the stock price too much. Ed
