One thought you'll should keep in mind when you talk about the 98 low of LSI. It was in Dec and was stretched by tax selling, it did not stay there long, if my memory is correct.

OT:

"...(FCS). Currently trading at around $12/shr with a market cap of only
$1.3 billion and a P/E of around 4!..."

I do wish Yahoo would be more careful in publishing their data. In the case of
FCS, the estimated earnings (for FY01) is $0.70 and not the $2.69 as indicated
by their quote.

biz.yahoo.com

Since nearly all (if not all) of the semis are clearly struggling, it's very likely that FCS will
revise their earnings downward and thereby jacking up their PE higher than 17+ ($12+/$0.7).
