Credit card req'd." expertcity.com [mark's note: expertcity.com even uses a virtual house call utility that allows technicians to see (remote access) your desktop to diagnose problems. this brings with it an element of trust and a potential for abuse. proceed with caution, and know what permissions you are granting the technician. i have no personal experience with this service, and i'm not recommending it. but after reading, for instance, that the average question is answered for between $5 and $20, and that the company offers a money back guarantee if the fix doesn't take, that just seems like it may be ideal for some folks.] :) mark
