make money and pay taxes or hold forever?

investors before this bear market were afraid of something really terrible. TAXES.. they were not afraid of losing money in the bull market. But more afraid of paying taxes.

Right now, wouldn't you agree that it was silly to worry about paying taxes if you dont have any profits to take?

I'm not saying tax strategies are NOT important. But the general thinking that "I'm not going to sell because i need to pay taxes" is totally wrong. Analyze your stock position based on your research (FA or TA), but not because you dont want to pay taxes.. How is it possible to make money without paying taxes? They go together.

Believe me, my parents and I went through this debate couple years ago. Guess who won at the end.
