dealie....out of curiousity? why is it difficult to short the techs? talk about valuations and less then realistic business models of many of the techs... classic shorting done not purely on momentum or valuation but on a less then realistic business model.....look at the b2b sector...never had a chance, moved up on pure hype and the lack of investor or analyst knowledge of how real business is conducted.....same with the incubators...looked like geniuses, but vc has always been a high risk game....on and on and on.... donuts tend to survive economic downturns.....some techs will not be able to go forward....
