It is one thing to say that one cannot be saved except through grace, and another to say that one cannot know something of morality, and act accordingly, on the basis of reason. Sorry I was not more clear. When I said "politically prominent Christians," I meant primarily Republicans who repeatedly say that morality can only come from religion and go on to state, for example, that seculars are unsuited for positions of public trust. Can you tell me why they haven't gotten the message? Karen
