most definitely....remember their ideology is first and foremost, welfare of the citizenry is secondary. this is a test of the "paper tiger", the "incident" is coincidental with a proposed usa/taiwan arms deal...doubt it was a random act...the prc is very stoic....mentality and ideology are hard to change...the surface appearance of the prc not anything like what lies within.....

very few of the 1.4 bil populace has taken the first step in the long march toward the western way....if you don't have indoor plumbing, you won't miss it.....

this ain't "madeline albright" form of diplomacy.....much more hard line, as it should be.....trade wise, we have an imbalance with the prc....much potential, but that potential is yet to be realized since the nixon era....will it ever be? yes, but not on our terms...
