Jake, while I agree that LU is a disaster w/ or w/o rumors, if one did not own any, and viewed it now, with its recent spin-off, and rumors of selling its fiber optic biz, the stock is actually quite cheap. i have the luxury of saying this since i do not currently own any LU. folks might want to look at FWC, Foster Wheeler, rammed down to $11 bucks on downgrade this morning. FWC make generating equipment for new electrical generation plants, mainly coal fired. they have received a lot of orders as the electrical energy problem spreads. larry

There are plenty of short term players out there who did well with it this morning. The minute the denial was released they loaded up and sold on the up tick!
