To be honest I think observing todays situation will be most educational going forward.

This asset bubble seems to be deflating all on its own - what good would it do anyone if the Fed adopted more deflationary policies in order to accelerate it? All that would do would be to force people to liquidate whether they want to or not. I don't think anyone really knows what to do but they did what you recommend in the 1930's and it blew up in their faces. They won't do that again.

Anyway, the casino is open and I've got to get back to work.

CSCO MSFT INTC SUNW DELL & financials negative but we have some bull horns showing up here.

Doesn't take much to get people to doubt their own convictions. Or is there any conviction ?

Seems we have a lot of traders ready to jump on intraday rallys.

There is still nothing to warrant a sustainable rally except that there is sooo much $ on the sidelines waiting to be squandered on more speculation.

Because we have dropped so far we should therefore rebound ?
Companies with 30-200% growth projections last year are now dealing with just burn rates and lack of 'visibility'.

What bounce is deserved pray tell ?
