Rather it says "Render unto Caesar". Separation of Church and State never meant isolation from a civilization that we all benefit from.

I have no interest in what the bible says as a guide to morality, politics, masturbation, or eating dung. I am not passing judgment on any of the groups we mentioned. My point was academic, not a pursuit of practicality or pragmatism. My point was that people have different ideas of right and wrong. If you consider the fact that your mind is only yours--this should not surprise you. I can never totally share your morality: I can never reason, nor feel--precisely the way you do. You may not like it when I borrow one of your stallions for a late night ride...but I don't like it when there are no eggs in the chicken house. These minor differences can be smoothed over a bottle of whiskey...

See, now, once upon a time people believed in things like spontaneous generation, phlogiston, and the indestructibility of the atom. From this we can infer that there is no objective nature, and that, even if there were, it is impossible to know anything about it.......Wait, that doesn't sound right. Hmmmmmm.........
