In context, it is obvious that "purpose inherent in nature" refers back to "from looking at human nature situated in the world". So "nature" just refers back to "human nature

SURELY!!!!!!!!

I just lost 4 quotes I had brought up from your past related posts--having a few drinks, you know? Did you know that prevaricating is a sin?!

I am merely saying that, since for theists the moral law is inherent in the nature of things, it is discoverable through observation and inference, just as are the laws of gravity or thermodynamics, without reference to ultimate philosophical issues.

SO...you will condescend to inform us of the inherent PURPOSE in HUMAN nature, LOL!! WE might as well learn something! :)
