As I noted before on this board, I used to work with a Big 5 public Accounting firm for many years - I not only know how to read financial's inside and out, but I also know the games company's play with their financials. SO, before you tread somewhere you shouldn't, be sure you understand where you are going. All that said - no one in their right mind would say LU has a good balance sheet. And for the record - I never said Bankruptcy is iminent - what I said was "- LU's is pretty pitiful. I suggest taking accounting 101 and studying it. LU is in bad shape financially" If you believe otherwise, please provide all of us here your in depth analysis of LU's balance sheet and how you as CFO would turn them around - and oh yea, none of the BS about if they get a big contract. I want a REAL plan !!!!! "They are simply being overly attacked by aggressive and unethical shorts (bltantly false rumor spread this morning) " Come on - are you back to blaming shorts for these companies problems? Maybe the rumor was false - but I tell you what, looking at LU's financials, I wouldn't discount it like you have. LU needs to do something soon to right themselves. they have a huge debt burden, a weakening business, and IMO little hope of turning things around unless they start selling themselves off piece by piece "A year from now you'll look back and wish you'd loaded up" Oh, like all those other times you called a bottom in LU, LOR, and a host of others which keep falling? "Also, if I were CEO of a big telco I'd be wanting to buy LU down here. Wouldn't you? " NO !!!!! Why do you believe such absurdities? I guess that is why you AREN'T the CEO of a big telco. Just what does LU have that a big telco would want to make them go out and acquire a sinking ship? "I'm not buying now at $7 (would rather own EMC for instance) but if it goes back below $6 I might hop on some. By the time Greenspan cuts another 1%, LU may be back over $10, maybe even back to $12.88 where it was just two weeks ago. Or $21 where it was 6 weeks ago. " Ok, let me see - LU will be back over $10, $12.88 or $21 soon - but you aren't buying any at $7 - HMMMMMMMMMM. Strong conviction there. I'm glad you shared that with us.
