I agree that China has violated international law if they have done what has been reported. Remember it has been reported by OUR press. If it is true, though, in my opinion what China has knowingly done is a deliberate act of aggression. This should tell us that they are considering laying claim to these waters and are in a sense signaling that to the world. When countries attempt to prevent other countries use of international shipping lanes, wars are a possibility. China must have upgraded her crummy WWII vintage Navy substantially in the last 2 years if they intend to fight it out on the high seas.
