How come a Republican who howls about the liberals taking away their freedoms, is the first to call a liberal a traitor when they express theirs?

For someone who preaches the 1st Amendment, you sure don't seem to know much about it.

I've never met a liberal who didn't laugh nervously at the word treason, and then try to convince you that it's quaint...

Add patriotism to that list. I don't recall that we were prepared for WWI or WWII. A liberal takes from that that we don't need to be prepared. It is a mindset that you might infer is Providential, but we know better. It's good to know that a few extra casualties of war is no matter to some and now I can see how they can truly hate the Boy Scouts whose motto is "Be Prepared". Yes, we are such bullies in this world that we should be forced to fight with one hand tied behind our back.

Why they were laughing nervously was undoubtedly to cover their abject horror at the thought of you becoming the chief of the thought police, defining dissenting views as treason.
