kas, The longer the lead time the more backlash that ensues. In addition with FPGA there were too many people chasing the same market, and some got adopted and some did not and they also vary like flash so preferences ensue for parts that meet the same printed specs. Now Dell uses it and tries to cope with the long feedback loop on some parts as best they can. These systems are indeed not optimal, but they are far better than they were 10 years or even five years ago. People have learned to stem the flow right quickly or there is a sea of them and they get old and slow and do not sell. I still feel the semi arena can and will pick up in 3-4 months. Bill Bill
