Maybe you're right. At today's close, AMAT is 67% off its high, the Nasdaq is off 68%, and the Nasdaq 100 is off 82%.

I just had an argument with a guy on another thread about why he thought semis were more overvalued than other sectors. His big evidence was a five-year chart that showed the SOX had outperformed the Nasdaq during that period. Incredible.

His other fact was that PSR has not gotten down to the level of past downturns, which is indisputable, but has nothing to do with relative valuation between the SOX and the Nasdaq.
