I saw CNBC pumping retail this afternoon too. It really pissed me off. Retail is a lagging indicator. We'll see how retail does when unemployment starts kicking in .... Hey ! What do you think about this ARMS thingy ? The historical record is pretty compelling, but of course, I have trouble caring about history back to the 1960s, cuz there was never a 100% move in the NASDAQ any time before Oct 1999 and March 2000 (a double in 5 months !!!) either.
