PCCW, HSBC, SecureNet Rename JV as SecureNet Asia Apr 03, 2001 - 16:59:34 HKT Quamnet News Service Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008), HSBC Holdings Plc (0005) and Australian IT security provider SecureNet Ltd. has changed their data-security joint venture SecureNet Asia Ltd., from previously Cable & Wireless HKT SecureNet Ltd. The joint venture began operation on July 1, 1999, before PCCW took over the Hong Kong unit of C&W Plc in August last year. SecureNet Asia supplies data-security solutions to corporate and government organizations throughout Asia, designing, developing and installing complete security solutions for the Internet, remote banking, virtual private networks (VPN) and data-critical applications. quamnet.com
