russ - AMEN ! on the account deficit/GDP % Bingo ! ... it doesn't take much "outside the box", or "ahead of the curve" thinking here to see what Kudlow, Angell & Forbes are doing... The "NOW" public pressure by these Old School/Insiders for Gold's Ascent is a message to these Gold Shorts - to begin to cover; or get ready to play good old fashioned hardball... watch for a Soros to step into the currency market here - short the US Dollar and/or another Buffet Silver forray - maybe Gold ? etc... there has been an exponential explosion in the behind the scene's moves & political posturing in the Dollar/Gold fiasco... we won't have to wait long for things to start happening imo... just watch ~ The US account deficit can not be ignored, nor can the risk to our financial markets of the gold derivative positons by US Banks. We've allready seen stress fractures in global currencies & economies from Turkey to Argentina ... these are the early warnings.
