Tim, how much do you want to bet they weren't over international waters the whole time while they were spying. Why do you think we want that plane back so badly? And forget the stated reason of not wanting hitech equipment getting into the wrong hands.

You have a habit of doing this. You ask a question and tell me to forget the answer that I might give.

I think we would want any plane back if we can get it. The equipment on this plane makes it more important (except it may not longer be on the plane, and if it is I'm sure the Chinese at least got a good look at it).

I think there is a pretty good chance that the plane was over what we consider international waters until after it was damaged. China has a slightly different opinion how much of the nearby ocean belongs to them then we do.
