not so... dell gave NO guidance on the rest of the yr and cautioend that the qtr is not over yet....

Dell said it was maintaining its forecast for its fiscal first quarter, which ends in about a month, but would not comment on the rest of the year due to economic and industry uncertainty.

That gets bought? Well anything is possible. If they do rally, I will be curious to see if they can rally non-tech as well. My guess is no.

Dell cut prices aggressively and gained market share. It's only Dell's business that's leveling. The rest of the PC business is still bleeding. But I agree with you that this news may be an excuse for a rally.
