I believe Intel was pulled down by the sell-off in AMD.
AMD's law suit against Alcatel - an AMD customer of flash memory - spooked investors because the flash business is probably a whole lot worse off than AMD has been letting on.
Intel makes flash - therefore, Intel is guilty by association.
