Kevin, It seems to me that, if we had warning, the war would have been shorter. With all of the ships that were sunk at Pearl had stayed afloat, the naval war for the Pacific would have been a different story. Who knows, maybe the A-bomb would not have been necessary, and the fears of the 50's and 60's may never have happened.
