knight, I agree the news is not very bullish if the Naz is at 3000, but it's very bullish when the Naz is at 1640, having lost 330 pts in a week after slew of warnings. What a refreshing change this market badly needs. At the current oversold conditions, it doesn't take much to lift all boats. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Naz regain 150 pts tomorrow and Friday.

Regards,

Tom

Knight, im not one to preach- but you gotta admitt, shorting lately has been like shooting fish in a barrel.. and you could really equate it in alot of ways to the bull market of yesteryear where morning after relentless morning we kept gapping up and up and up..

I think the very fact that the majority of folks out there bet only on the upside sorta limits the ability of the markets to continue to selloff week after week till it reachs 500 on the nasdaq.. Im not turning bullish at all- but I just gotta make sure I dont get too complacent because we could easily move to about 2200-2300 on the nasdaq from here.. Theres plenty of horrendous news/drops in our future, but lets not get nailed in any silly short squeezes as people try and call THE bottom..
