Actually, the older I get, the less change seems progress. Particularly in the music my children listen to!

And a dual marriage? I'd like to hear from the child of an Islamic marriage on this - up to four wives, stable arrangement... there's a valid (biological) argument that this is more in line with human nature: it should certainly guarantee the constant presence of a 'mother'...

I wonder how much of a mother/child relationship there is between the say the second wife and the children of the third wife. If there isn't actually any intense intrafamily problems I would guess the relationship might be more like that of a close relative but not quite the same as a good mother/child relationship. But this is mostly just a guess on my part. I don't know any polygamous families.
