I became a lawyer because I believe in law. After almost 20 years, I still believe in law. If you are on the right side of the law, it doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, you will get justice. Should get. Nothing is perfect. Excellent post. I am programmer thus my failure to write. Today I had to modify the binary signature of an Interface. My mail server assigned an integer to how many emails could be in a mailbox. Many components implemented this interface. An interface is like a contract in many ways. But I ramble. Contracts are the stuff America is made of. That is why I get so ticked off debating the left. While they may sign a conract with you, if they want out of it they will just start arbitrarily assigning new meanings to the words in the contract. Perfectly exemplified by Clinton and it depends on what is is. Maybe a perfectly valid legal argument. But I sure as hell ain't signing no more contracts with him!
