Thanks, Joe. Good move to get out; you should have called me :)

I was not actually in techs (except NT, because the company I worked at was bought by them) until mid Jan. AFTER AG reassured us all that the Fed would do the right thing, be aggressive, and vigilant. I got suckered in, but you're right, no one held a gun to my head (yes, irony).

My point is not with the bubble, or with the past, but with where we are today. It's getting worse, and I see very little action. As we go forward, though, it all seems to be coming true. Now, the Chicago Fed says there is a chance at a recession. I guess having one of them say 'recession' and not that silly 'retrenchment' is a start.

Bygones are bygones. Let's see some action now. Use Greenspeak if you have to, AG, but get it back on track.

I guess the Senate news today was encouraging; we're at least getting the cards on the table. Hammer it out, get it done, move forward.

Thanks for the advice; you're right, it's hard to see straight during a rant.

--and how it would affect Dubya's precious tax plan --

the pending bankruptcy bill is going to have far more effect on j6p than the tax cut ever will.
