Like I said lets take them out now whille we still have the advantage. The Chinese would do it to us if the roles were reversed.

>> if the US still keeps doing this kind of so-called routine spying at China's gateway, I am afraid this incidence is just a tip of the iceberg.

I'm surprised at your tone of indignation, Yiwu Zhang. I was under the impression that China had its own excellent intelligence gathering organization. Why disallow the quid pro quo?

If you look at it another way, the USA's attention is recognition of China's rise as a world power.

Hi Yiwu,

The plane was indeed "at China's gateway" - and if the Chinese had done the same to us I suppose we would not like it. But China does spy on us, you know, it goes both ways.

Even if China never releases our crew and executes every one of them, we won't stop spying on China. So how does it save China's dignity to make a demand that they surely know will not be granted?

In fact, China is making the American people angry. If China invades Taiwan the American people will be more likely to back Bush in sending our troops to protect Taiwan. Foolish. The Chinese government doesn't understand that this is a democracy, and the American people have been ambivalent about Taiwan, but if we are angry that will change.
