Bush has a track record of a firm but a leader who knows bi-partisan ship on htat count I have full confidence in his lack of words but schedule of high diplomacy being conducted behind the scenes, I think this situation should resolve and the relationship should not become a hostage to 'jingoist' values of the past. Bush Junior and Colin Powel both have got enough experience one in making fences and establishing rapport the later in strategic retraint ( like in Iraq) that both will and shall be able to do it.

AG has pulled this one, the very same people until last year were calling the oracle of Omaha that MR. Buffet as a buffon now are writing praises of his strategies, in all liklihood similar things will and shall be written about AG, in markets these timings are forgetten if landing is soft. Much as you see the wiping out of yuor account as a big draw back, don't forget falling interest rate enviornment does provide you with added equity that is your hard assets, in recessions and big slow down, one loses his job and as if that is not enough the stock market goes to dog and houses price drop, refinancing becomes impossible. Please be assured thast given some time as things resolve this will look alright with a benefit of hindsight.
