Futures limit lock up and NAZ 3% up solid, fwiw, when I wrote yesterday <<'we fools long for a day when I get up and find futures limit locked up, I thought of that day as two months from now, little did I realize that 'those who asked me what s--t I am on' will have little humbling experience so fast and a beffting reply from the markets so fast and so hard, for me it matters nothing just unravelling of my believe that we are overdoing here, and like limit down openings the chances on upside are far better, the herd will change direction once things get rolling. However, actions speaks better than words, sincce it came within a day of my call the 'all towering infallible individuals will have something to worry about.

OVERSOLD Rally. There are numerous kinds of rallies, imho. I give each kind a different name, like PAYDAY rally, TAX REFUND rally, OVERSOLD rally, Fed Cut Rally, Tax cut Rally, earnings rally, economic recovery rally, and growth rally etc. I am holding out for the GROWTH RECOVERY RALLY. I will continue to buy and hold until then, because the GROWTH aspect of that rally, historically, is the greatest rate of turn on investment there is, ROI, and one just needs to review a long term graph of the DOW since 1929 to see this RECOVERY aspect. Or individual stocks, that have or had the highest GROWTH for their period, at those magic moments, like IBM back in the go go stocks 1960s, each crash or correction made IBM richer, same for MSFT in the 1980s and 1990s, same for OIL in the 1970s, and so on. That is why I am into PALM and NTAP. I could have gone maybe with HAND and EMC but it was a judgement call. Surely AT&T is dead, as is XRX and even I think QCOM on the china news, but that means WCOM will gain, HWP, and all the other hand helds for qcom like NOK, ERCY, but still PALM because of the PALM OS as we go into convergence. Its just a GROWTH judgment call, PALM and NTAP for storage.
