China asserts plane in Chinese territory; US asserts it was in international waters; none of us knows; China asserts US veered into its fighter; US asserts Chinese fighter hit its plane; none of us knows! What we do know is that under Clinton foreign nations & PLO/A learned that if they pushed and made Clinton uncomfortable, they got something. China and PLA trying same thing with Bush, but meeting resistance; something they didn't expect from US. There are different rules now; we all have to learn how to deal/cope/live with it. Incidentally, Putin is doing his own strong thing in Moscow and a new generation of Chinese leaders appears to be doing the same thing. No surprise there, but everyone else has to learn/understand that this US President will push back. John
