OT*** China*** & toasted electronics ****

Good to hear that the crew did something right. Of course the Chinese will likely call the 1-800- Fix-it (tech support numbers) that are on the back of all that equipment.

The Chinese major problem is that they want to buy and copy all the latest and greatest technology, whereas great nations develop it faster than other nations can copy it. What else besides spaghetti have the Chinese invented in the last 1000 years?

We got to get tough in this case.We should immediately shut down all the Burgher King and Mc Donald restaurants in Peking until our plane and soldiers are returned.

OT China

Perhaps the Chinese are really PO'd to find that the electronics in the P-3 are toast and that is why they will be hard to deal with until they get over it.

My guess is they are pissed that we don't let them within 200 miles of our borders... and yet we constantly push limits all the time. They PROBABLY say it is our fault for violating THEIR air space. In a way, they are right. It would NOT have happened had we stuck to 200 mile borders that we insist their milatary obey... Of course, we get away with it because there are so many areas of the World where you can get much closer... and we carry the biggest stick.
