IMHO following the California situation is the most entertaining thing on the web. They reming me of the old comedy The 3 Stooges. Can just see Larry Moe and Curly as the Governer, The CPUC commissioner, and the leader of an environmental group.

It is unfortunate that this comedy has real life consequences. Being an opportunist I am fully capitalizing on the bungling.

I still think of the Orange County bankruptcy of a few years back. We were called "rich deadbeats" by editorial writers all over the country because we voted down a tax increase to paper over the problem caused by the tax collector and Merrill Lynch.

The tax increase would probably pass today as people seem to be clamoring for socialism. After all, we are only paying 7.5% sales tax here -gg-
