When all the news is out & the recession is at it's nastiest? The street and the financial media will put on the full court press. Time to sheer the sheep of the shares they were conditioned by the same shills to buy and hold forever. How else would there be enough shares on hand for the W.S. house to replenish their in house trading dept inventories and the accounts of their corporate insider clients. As long as there have been markets, it has always been so! But, precious few EVER catch on. The Bell Curve may appear unfair, even cruel, to the mediocre who find themselves in OR to the left of the bulge (listening Chihuahuas?). But it's an extraordinarily efficient winnower in sorting the bright lights from the dim ones over time. Like sports, this is a game where merit, not gimmicks or plastic BS, determines the outcome.
